About us
Adaka cottage is a fully remodeled farmhouse in which we provide accommodation for people looking to enjoy a leisure stay in the middle of nature.
We offer both private rooms or the entire property for rent.
The cottage is located in Oiartzun, a peaceful town 20 minutes away from San Sebastian.
An excellent location close to the main tourist spots and interesting places in the area.
The first records of the farmhouse go back to 1599. The house has been kept alive from generation to generation, and the space and its surroundings have always been taken care of in order to adapt it to the different times.
In the last few years, it has housed small businesses such as lime sale, production of raw materials; vegetables, milk or cattle, as well as a restaurant.
In Adaka’s renovation we have worked with the original architectural elements of the farmhouse, restoring the river rock walls, the original oak beams and sandstone details.
In addition, contemporary design elements have been incorporated with the aim of improving the brightness, the space and the service for our guests.
Our goal is to provide an excellent rest and comfort with a professional service and a familiar behavior.
It is the ideal place to enjoy nature and peacefulness, for both couples and families.

In Adaka we have a firm commitment to our gastronomic culture, our surroundings and to the know-how to do our local products. That is why we produce fruits and vegetables from local seeds using sustainable methods in order to incorporate them into our gastronomic offer.
The goal is to create a supplier network in order to offer the finest quality products of our region and, together with our own fruits and vegetables, to create a breakfast offer which reflects the rich gastronomy of our land.
